Favourite tools

Recently someone was asking about favourite tools. Today my Thursday Thirteen was about my favourite scrapbooking tools so I thought I would post it here. This took me over two hours to compile, whew!

My 13 favourite Scrapbook Tools.

1- Tonic paper cutter. I prefer rotary cutters because the blades last longer but this is still a nice light weight cutter, I like that you can change the mat below the blade, which ensures a straighter cut. And I like that you can lift the track/arm to place the paper underneath and its quite easy.
2- Making Memories Oval and circle cutters (along with the mat and 3 different size blades). I love that with each different circle/oval you can get 6 different sizes.
3- Trio Adhesive. The Trio adhesive is VERY strong and I love that it has 3 different sizes in one compact unit. Its easy to use and lasts ages.
4- Tombo Adhesive. This is what I use most, its easy to use, lasts quite a while and I find the price quite affordable. Oh and its refillable.
5- I still use my old Cutterpede Trimmer with a scoring blade for my cards. It always folds them straight - its a huge time saver.
6- Cutter Bee scissors. These scissors are SHARP. I love the fine tip on them, the size and the non-stick blades because I cut lots of sticky things.
7- Scotch removable tape. I DO NOT use this as an adhesive. But I DO use it when I am cream embossing, it holds the brass template in place and covers the edges. Its comes off without leaving a mark and won't damage anything.
8- Tidy Tray. This little thing is a lifesaver when it comes to using glitter. It contains the mess and makes cleaning up SO easy.
9- Silent Setter. I like how easy and quiet this is to use. It has 3 different sizes (great to use like a hole punch too) and a cute little carrying case.
10- Mini Glue Dots. These little babies are strong. I love them for adhering flowers, ribbon, and little things. They easily will hold a penny on a ribbon.
11- Making Memories Sanding Block. These can be used for a variety of things, but I use mine on the edges of paper if it got cut a bit fuzzy. It has three different sides, each is a different grit.
12- Rub-On Tool. That isn't the same brand but it looks nearly the same. I love mine, it works so well. I also use it for picking up stickers off of the sheet because I don't have nails.
13- And finally - My AMM Tote. This isn't a tool exactly but it holds all of them. Everything has a place, its functional AND very cute. I got it for my birthday last year and it has been awesome.

I'm wanting your #2 for my main Christmas present this year from my husband. I was actually outbid on the entire CM cutting set on eBay yesterday. Right now, if I want to do ovals or circles, I have to use a cardboard template and try to cut it out by hand.
